Technician for a Franchised Dealership in Birmingham

Basic Salary £35K plus Bonus depending on experience 

OTE £45K

Our client, a franchised motor dealership family owned group is seeking an experienced Technician, (mechanic), to join their successful Aftersales department of their dealership in Burton on Trent.

Although it would be an advantage, dealership experience not necessary.

As well as technical competence in the mechanics of a vehicle, you should have a good working knowledge of the electrical and electronic components of a vehicle and be comfortable with using the latest diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults.

You must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Mechanics, have a positive, 'can do' attitude, and willingness to work as part of an effective team. A VOSA MOT Smartcard would be a distinct advantage in this role but not essential.

You should be a good team player and communicator to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop, ensuring you liaise with other team members to meet and exceed customer expectations.
